I have a 2002 Honda Passport and according to Fueleconomy.gov it has 2 different estimates. The "old" combined MPG is 19. But the "new" MPG is 17. I get 18MPG on 100% hwy driving which is terrible.

So will my SUV qualify?

What you are thinking of is the cash for clunkers bill which has not passed yet. So you need to wait to see what the final bill looks like before you get too excited. Anyway I doubt that a 2002 will qualify for the program.
